Soul bypass pipes install

I tried the 986 forum and renlist, no response so I figured I’d try here. Anyone know in a 2002 boxster (986), is there a vacuum line easily accessible in the engine bay I can tap into. The video I watched (which was really good) was on an earlier 986 (99 or earlier) Where the guy tapped into seemed like a disaster waiting to happen. So maybe, there is an easier place on the later year cars.
Watching the video, the overall job seems pretty easy except for this step. As mentioned in my other posts, I’ve removed and replaced all the muffler clamp bolts so the actual install of pipes will be super easy.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks.

Wish I could help. I put SOUL HF cats on my 996 but not the bypass pipe. The HF cats added a nice little growl to the exhaust note and were very high quality. The install was difficult only because my car was originally delivered in Chicago and the rust was a pain to deal with. Great fit/finish on their products. Good luck. Have you called them directly? I talked to a SOUL rep when I was buying my cats and they were very knowledgeable and helpful.

Thanks for responding. I should have called yesterday. It scheduled to go to the shop on Tuesday for install but it seems easy enough to do that I figured I’d try. The bolts on my u pipes are either new or I removed and put new ones on a couple days ago so no problem there. That vacuum situation has me stumped. I guess I’ll leave to pro.

The attachment in that post shows the TSB to install the factory PSE for the 986. You can see where that exhaust draws vacuum on page 7.
