Is there still the inexpensive old flip phone out there?

Since the 5G came out, the old flip phone doesn't work anymore. Do you guys remember the old flip phone can be bought for really cheap? It's been years, since switching to smart phone, my mom can not use the phone anymore. Her fingers can not be accurate enough, even just to pick up and answer the call.

Does anyone ever try to stick the current T-Mobile SIM card into the one of those pre-paid phone?

Thanks.

Consumer Cellular. I believe TMobile has a couple of basic flip phones you can get her.

My T Mobile account shows these 3. The flip go is $96. The other 2 are $210

I've got a flip phone that Verizon gave me (to replace my old flip) when they went to 5G. I don't know what make it is. Not sure where it is or i'd tell you the make. Don't have cell service here so don't use it much in fact i've made 1 call on it since i got it.

Are the “buttons “ on an iPhone smaller than those on a flip phone?

I dropped my iPhone XR in the hot tub last week. I fished it out in time to save it I guess. It acted dead, so I ordered an SE. after sitting a couple of days the XR has started working. I like the size of the SE, but I think I’m sending it back.

Scrolling a screen isn't easy for us oldsters. We prefer things to stay in one place.

If mine dies I'm not buying another iPhone. Even used. So far they've been handed down but the last one was better than this one. (7 plus; the 6 plus was enough)

I carry that very same Kyocera. It's pretty rugged and relatively water resistant.

Used CC for years ... changed because of coveraged issues at my house. Their non-stop commercials are as bad as Flo was tho'... gimme us a break :(

I saw a news segment in recent months saying that a decent number of self-aware younger humans (teens to upper 20s?) are switching to flip phones because they're ready to get out of the smartphone arena... they realized they were spending too much of their lives on the social media hamster wheel.

ah, they still exist. Thanks everyone.
