I've always liked him. Even some of his music. lol

He's been down this road before. Odd this video is "age-restricted."

Shatner...at one time an underrated actor. He did all the venues well. A comedy genius, also a hellofa dramatic actor.

Guy I casually knew collaborated on his album from two decades ago ... I worked with his mom.... a very cool lady :)

Ben Folds ... (and) his brother (also a musician) was a regular at our local college bar/music club .... just regular folks hanging out .... but Ben was "gifted" ;)

The clarity of my posts amuses me :D....

Naw .... Ben's brother also hung out and played there .... no relation to Kirk ;)

That small bar (music venue) was where The Ben Folds Five performed their first gig ... place was packed.... Ben's baby grand piano, drums, and stand up bass filled the tiny stage as a 3 piece band... I was blown away by the show too :).

Told his mom "Scotty" the next day at work .... yer boy "doesn't exactly suck" :D

Good times!

Steve Carlton 03-22-2024 06:04 PM

C'mon. Scotty wasn't a mom...

WPOZZZ 03-22-2024 08:25 PM

How old is that thing on his head?

Bill Douglas 03-22-2024 08:44 PM

Beam me up Scotty. I'll have a pinot with Captain Kirk.

Good times!

I heard "Brick" the other day on the Lithium XM channel 34, such a sad song, good, but sad.
As far as Shatner, he's great!!! "There's a man on the wing of the plane"!!!

Wasn't familiar with BF's music before that epic show .... or since ... other than a brief tour via Youtube.

He stood at his baby grand (no seat), and attacked it like a young Elton or Warren Zevon playing a small club .... he simply "punk rocked" out with no guitar on stage .... and that was a first and only time I've ever seen that over several thousand live shows...

Memory Lane :)

Now back to the Captain .... sorry about the ramble off topic....
