PSA 2014-2018 GMC Trucks

Hi fellas.

The wifes 2016 Tahoe started doing this odd thing, low speed, parking lots, the brake pedal would either need to be pushed to the floor to get it to stop or on other occasions it would feel like the ABS was being triggered by a faulty speed sensor on one side.

Come to find out there is a "warranty extension" for 2014-2018 GMC, Chevy, Cadillac full size SUV's and trucks.

Its the vacuum pump, it starts to fail intermittently /randomly.

It's not technically a recall so they have not notified customers but it is a fully warranted fix but you need to explicitly mention it to the service writer as they may not be aware of the warranty extension. Mine wasn't.

Is there a limit on the amount of time or miles for the warranty extension? Ms Rocket has a 2015 Tahoe with probably 145K miles.
