Lola and Yamaha partner for Formula E

I am not necessarily a fan of Formula E but it's nice to see the Lola name rise from the dead . Yamaha is a strong partner and the two famous names might be a force to be reckoned with . I wish them well and if successful maybe future growth into other series is possible .

Mostly on account of the broadcast itself and not the racing. Similar reasons for why I've stopped following F1 with liberty media's takeover the show. I come for racing, not for a lathering of cringe sanctimony. Good news is short track racing that still focuses on the track is still around and doing well.

I've tried it too. I think the cars and drivers are a good show but, as said, the broadcast lacks. They are quick.

I tried Formula E, it killed me, went back for more, they tried to kill me again, so I left, not doing that again

![]() Formula E is a software stratergy formula for automotive manufacturers who want marketing exposure but are not serious or too scared to compete in top level motorsport ![]() Ferrari or Honda will never race in Formula E ![]() On a side note, I've been reliably informed that after the incoming 2026-2030 generation of 50% electric/50% sustainable fuel F1 hybrid era is over, F1 power units won't be full EV, or even a higher % electrical but hydrogen ICE only

I was interested the first two years. It was fun flagging the first FE race at Long Beach, because it was different. You could hear tire squeal. But especially given the looks of the current vehicles and how the speed does not translate in a broadcast, I have stopped following. It also seems to be quite consistently a crash-fest.
