Telecalm
Does anyone here have experience with Telecalm? Mom is in the mid stages of her dementia and gets calls about every 2-3 minutes in the afternoons. Would like to eliminate them and since I cannot Thanos snap them or hire a Beekeeper, this seems like it might be the next best thing.

Can you alternatively block all calls from numbers not in her Contacts list?
https://www.guidingtech.com/block-all-calls-except-contacts-on-android-and-iphone/ I don’t have Android, but followed the instructions for iPhone and will see if it works. |

Those telecalm plans are expensive!

The Telecalm replaces the landline. She is no longer able to use a cell phone. Sorry I wasn't clear on that.

I think there are call blocking devices that work with a landline and can be set to allow only calls from a list of phone numbers you have entered. Other calls go to voicemail.

Call the land line provider...they could have something to offer.

This looks interesting. We really struggled as my Mom's dementia progressed with this issue. She couldn't work a cell phone and we wanted to be able to call and talk to her. She got so many scam and sales calls it really confused her. I often got panicked calls from her saying "did you just call me"?
The other issue we had was she liked to watch TV but could no longer work the remote. I really wished for a TV from 1970 that just had buttons and a channel changer! Every time I went to her room she had unplugged a bunch of stuff because she couldn't figure out how to turn on or off the TV. |
