Regenerative braking and brake lights
Hi,
I was following a Mustang Mach-E yesterday and the brake lights looked like Morse code they were blinking so much. I was wondering how much the regenerative braking was kicking in as we were doing city driving, and I have never seen so much flashing of brake lights. I assume he was on full regen, but it was silly how many times his lights came on in a mile. Too many of these might make people think it's a false positive.

Most likely the brake lights are signaled to go on at a certain decel g. If the car is in a high-regen mode it may be that it's spending a lot of time right on that threshold and the programming doesn't give enough damping (so to speak).
I drive Mach Es regularly and they're pretty nice to drive, though they ride as if unsprung weight were like 1000kg/corner.
