I think that was one of the best games I've seen so far. They didn't jam up the middle of the ice so no one could carry the puck in or get a shot on net. Not sure about the games that I fell asleep through though.

I concur. Is this guy channelling his "inner Chris Pronger"? He seems (at times) to be hell-bent on inflicting some serious pain on anybody in his sights.
Fantasy of course: Marchie pitch-forking him in the 'nads' sometime next season! All though a tad brutal, might 'move' me to revise my "schidtlist" & 'shout' Marchie a beer or 3.

When Skinner let in the first (kind of a softie) & then the rather unfortunate deflection off Nurse's 'cul', I was sure the wheels had definitely come off. Fifty-five minutes of shut-out hockey & the oinklers pulled it out of the fire. They were total value for the money. To paraphrase "Flat" - I/we've been enjoying some great hockey. Looking forward to tonight's Cats/Rangers tilt.

Their "best" scorers never showed up. You can't win when the team doesn't have a power play or score more than 1-2 goals the whole game.

That said, the better team won. The cats are nearly perfect.

Florida is a stiffling, relentless forechecking team, maybe the best I've ever seen. Not the most skilled, but they will be tough for the Oilers to beat.
