Porsche Mechanic Charleston SC (James Island)

Anyone know a good mechanic in the area? My car possibly needs a water pump, coolant tank or the plumbing in between. There was a puddle in right rear corner on 986. Coolant level is fine so maybe it just spit out through overflow. Im not there so need to have someone look at.
Thanks

Ultimate Autowerks on 17. This is the closest to James/John’s island. They do BMWs, but I’m not sure about Porsche.

Gordon at Autometrics in West Ashley

Karl Troy at European Road and Race in North Charleston

Let us know who you went with and what they said.

I’ve used both Autometrics and European Road and Race. Nothing major, just alignments and corner weights.

Water pump on a 986 is a simple job, no need for a Porsche expert.

Based on the description of were your leak showed itself, likely came from the overflow line from expansion tank.....

I've known both Gordon and Karl for decades, can't go wrong with either one's shop.
