NFL Draft Starts Today

Starts tonight at Detroit and goes thru Saturday. A Quarterback heavy draft with a possible first four picks being QB's.
The Bears have the first pick...unless they trade. Lions pick 29th in the first round.

8pm tonight on ESPN is the first round....the most important round.

And I spent the first half of last season thinking we were sure to get another chance to improve with it ....

Oh well .... at least there's Taylor to look forward too

I predict a few unexpected picks and trades in the first 10 picks. (except for the Bears)

This is the first draft day that holds a lot of questions in the first round. The rounds after the first are ho-hum.

There was a corporate jet all painted up with the NE Patriots logos parked across the runway.
Maybe Kraft heard she is available.

We discussed Cousins in a previous thread .... his age and injury make him a ???. Shouldn't be a surprise for them drafting a youngin' too imo....

From Cousins' perspective, it's a wasted pick.

And with 6 QBs taken in the first 12 selections, the Raiders at #13 go with a TE. Aiden O'Connell isn't bad, but he's not great, either. I guess with a TE, you're getting someone who can help protect the QB and be a big target on the field. But that's probably not the player the Raiders had penciled in for the first round.
