Can anybody here comment on Opera Browser?

Apparently it is AI assisted whatever that means.

I wonder how much of the claims "AI assisted" is just jumping on the AI bandwagon because it is in the new a lot and how much of it is truly impactful. In other words, are we in a media AI bubble or is all this hype real?

I haven't used/tried Opera in years. It was OK the last time that I tried it but didn't really seem to buy me anything at the time, but years can make a huge difference.

Right, everything these days is "AI" and/or "machine learning" (probably heard more in the IT environment). I think most "AI" claims are blown way out of proportion, and like you said, these days it is being turned into a marketing claim (or being applied in a very dumbed down form).

I like it for the free VPN.

As far as the rest it seems like there's a ton of things it 'can' do but I imagine if you used them all it would be pretty annoying.

I have not used it, but I am currently testing 'Brave', and I think it might become my new browser of choice.

I guess this is not the thread to find the best recording of Turandot.

Frankly Madame Butterfly is much better anyway.
