In case you are wondering why I now own 10 Honda Interceptors.....there are specific reasons why I bought each one.
I don't consider myself a "collector" and one day will be thinning the herd. This latest Interceptor was one of those built at the Marysville, Ohio plant. This only happened one year - in 1987. Of my (4) 1987 Interceptors......(2) of them came from this plant, including the very first one I ever bought back in '97, so a bit of nostalgia there. In 1987 Honda only offered two colours - Blue with silver graphics and wheels or White with gold graphics and white wheels. I already have (2) in Blue, a White which was re-painted Yellow....so this will be my first White version as it came from the factory. I found it on FB MP from a seller located in Wisconsin. It was transported here last week and I'm waiting for the title to arrive - probably today. In the meantime I stuck a tag on it from another bike just so I could take her out for some short rides. She has some slight cosmetic issues but mechanically is in excellent condition. It's also my first bike with a Yoshimura exhaust.

What?!?!

So totally cool. Really awesome motorcycles. Love it.
Back in 1984, I had an’’83 Suzuki 750E, not the ES. Mine only had the fairing around the headlight. The ES fairing was more like the ones on the Interceptor. Used to ride with a guy that had the Interceptor. Such great fun. Nine Interceptors? You whacko. Too cool. |

Hey! That's only 7 years per Interceptor. (Well, in four weeks. )
Seriously, Dude, you might have a biking problem. ![]() Best Les

So, what is considered an antique motorcycle in your neck of the woods? (Seeing the tag and wondered what the age of the bike it came off).
More than half of my bikes are now becoming antiques, and I bought many new.... I guess I'm becoming an antique also...

Great bikes and the white/black scheme is striking. Start looking for a storm trooper helmet!

That's a nice one. Looks great in white. As the saying goes "A man can never have too many Honda Interceptors."

Great taste, Baz! That's my favorite 750 of all time, in my favorite color scheme. Nicely done!

Thanks, everyone! I took her out tonight and she ran perfect and almost too fast, if there is such a thing!
The antique plates here used to be available for any vehicle 20 years of age. Then they extended it to 25. Now it's 30. Most of my stuff still qualifies. ![]() I'm in the process of setting up some mounts for my GoPro camera to take some riding vids. Will post some of those when I get them. Should be interesting...... ![]()
