Try spraying copper sulfate solution, like you do for peach leaf curl

I saw post online where someone's 2 puppies ate mushrooms out of their yard and died in <24hrs. That would suck.

Best answer yet!

Sorry I can't help with eliminating them permanently.

I used to try to keep a "nice" lawn, fighting moles and dandelions and incessant mowing all summer long.
When we moved to this place in 2018 the front lawn was two acres of grass. By then I had changed my mind about lawns. I called it the "green desert." That fall I plowed up about half of it, planted wildflowers, and never looked back. Fck spending hours on a lawnmower every week. :D

beautiful and good for the local environment/bees/runoff/etc.

almost all my yard is garden at this point, garlic, herbs, potatoes, rhubarb, and tons of berry bushes, we've even tried corn. we have whole bed of tulips in the spring, and wildflowers throughout on the north side of my small lot.

yards were a foolish idea of French kings. no idea why we'd think they were a good idea today.

I keep a nice lawn, and my master gardener wife plants flowers. We started yet another new flower bed this year.

We already have butterflies, bees and bumble bees. We had so many Monarchs last fall it was almost creepy when I mowed the back yard with dozens of butterflies flying around me. I am 100% sure that can't bite or sting, but critters flying all around me iis weird.

The Koi pond in the back yard attracts all sorts of wildlife. We get toads and frogs having an orgy each spring. Lots of tadpoles for the Koi to eat. Just a few make it to toad status and get out alive. We have two toads singing ever night this time of year.

We have these little snakes that eat earthworms.

This guy showed up in the back yard. I captured him to protect him from our dogs, and took him to a creek that flows into a 20 acre farm that is nearby.

We had this "right angle snake" show up. I just locked the dogs out of the back yard, and it left.

We also have blue tailed skinks and lots of birds come for water.

Oh the memories of high school searching local pastures for the Blue Ringers. Made tea out of them and provided a trippy experience for a couple hours.

You have a beautiful property Glen. I’ll bet it’s a lot of “labor of love” to keep it up.

Thanks. We regularly see people out on a walk stop and stare. Many stop to ask questions. Cars driving by and the passenger stop to take pictures.

The neighborhood association used to have a yard of the month contest. Everyone just agreed we are the perpetual winners so they killed the contest. It is the 917-30 style contest killer. Other people have some nice yards, but no one else has a master gardener wife out doing her thing regularly.
