Interesting cars in your work parking lot

Any others have interesting rides that show up to work on occasion?

At my office, the "interesting ride" in the parking lot is almost invariably one of mine.

I only usually get up to the 2nd floor of the parking garage out of several floors. Most of what I see that's "interesting" are various, newer Porsches or electric vehicles. One of the Porsches is a newer 911, I haven't looked super close, probably a GTS (most likely) or I suppose it could be a GT3 Touring (but I don't remember seeing a vent in front of the hood?), since I think those are the 2 911s that come with centerlock wheels but not a fixed rear spoiler.

I've got you all beat! We've got Chevy trucks, Hyundai's, Honda's...all from the mid 2000's! Talk about prestigious.

My office is in a 13-story professional office building (3 floors of parking garage and 10 of offices). One woman (maybe a psychiatrist by her license plate?) dailies a Ferrari. There are a couple GT3RS (991 or 992) and a 996 GT2. I think the building owner drives a 996 cab. A C7 Vette with an enormous track wing and front splitter (no idea how he clears the unusually prominent speed bumps). Someone drives an H2 Hummer from time to time. Someone keeps their '56 Chevy BelAir under a cover in their stall. And someone else keeps their rad Dodge Shelby somethingorother in their stall, too. Otherwise, the traditional smattering of BMWs, Lexi, Mercedes, Teslas, Range Rovers, Jeeps, etc expected of LA.

This was parked by the stage. Belongs to David Ellison, Larry "Oracle" Ellison's son who is a producer and is in talks to buy Paramount.

Years ago, I lived in an upper middle-income neighborhood 35 minutes away from Chicago. It was adjacent to the North Shore burbs of the city. My son was in HS and the cars that juniors and seniors that pulled up in my driveway were incredible. Corvettes, Hummers, MBs, BMWs - way too much money.

My son lost his license in his senior year and for many reasons, I took him to school daily. You could immediately tell the difference between the lot of the teaching staff vs the student parking lot.

That story reminded me of a phenom of Huntington Beach CA (AKA Surf City). Adjacent to Newport Beach which is decidedly wealthy, HB has its share of wealth and a big helping of upper middle class.

If you drove by the local high school several years back you would see a lot of classic American cars as student rides. I'm talking tri-5 Chevys and other cars and coffee kinds of cars. A good share of old air cooled VW's as well. Of course there were the Honda's and that ilk but not much riced up influence going on.

It was pretty cool to see teenagers in American Graffiti cars. IDK if this is still a thing.

I went to a very good private high school in Atlanta and there were plenty of kids who got new cars (Some Accords, some BMW 3-series) when they turned 16 (this was in the early 90s). But the most interesting cars to me belonged to faculty. One of my English teachers drove an E12 530i in copper with a bunch of modifications on it that I just loved. Two teachers that were a married couple (she was one of my art teachers) drove a lime green Karmann-Ghia and a red VW bus. The one student car that was truly interesting was the classmate of mine who sometimes drove his dad’s BMW Bavaria. That was the source of my love for Bavarias in particular.
