Soooooooo many DIY car vids out there are terrible, and the timing and pace of his videos just fit my skill level I guess. He also is happy to admit when he gets something wrong or right. Like this mercedes (6:25.)
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VSLtA6Nsfi8?si=plUgvIe_gPi-BoO5&start=388" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" referrerpolicy="strict-origin-when-cross-origin" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
I watch most of his stuff for exactly the reasons you stated. Kind of reminds me of Ed from Wheeler Dealers. He’s definitely put me off buying anything European post 2000. My sons are always banging on about buying a cheap AMG or Audi S series and I point them towards his videos to calm them down.

not my favorite of the car-tubers, leaves alot of stuff hanging and undone, and I cant forgive him for using timing chain guides and timing kit from amazon on his recent Panamera build.

Fair comments, I think I just like the candor and the pacing of the dialogue.
For example I like "Car Wizard' a lot but the vids are about enjoyable as a root canal. |
