My doctor is an internist. Not a GP or family practice. There were no blood tests, or anything to prove it one way or the other. He was pretty sure in is the shingles, and under the skin. There is zero indication on the skin there is anything wrong, just my major discomfort. Sometimes is feels like a really bad sunburn. Other times a sharp stabbing pain. No itching at all.
