Any Oreo Experts?

I don't eat them, myself. I mean, I remember them from my childhood and all.

At work, we have been having some treats, and there have been different Oreo cookies. I tried some the other day that were "churro" flavored. They were okay. Ooo, I see they are a "limited edition," so I feel special now.

Soak them in milk, semi freeze, eat them with a spoon. Loved them in the 70s.

I never liked dunking them in milk, just not a fan of mushy Oreos, I guess.

Twist off the wafer.

Lick off the stuff.

Dunk the wafers in milk.

LOL! Yep, dunked in milk is the way to go. I tried the double stuff, but to me, the ratio of cookie to filling was off and they weren't as good. These days there must be at least 20 different variations, maybe 40, all different flavors and styles. I'd be willing to try some of them. I think there are some with chocolate or dark chocolate filling and also some with toffee flavored filling. I'd give those a go, but I don't want to buy a whole package of them. The only time I get them these days is if the missus buys some for the grandsons. I'll get what's left when they go home. That gives me the opportunity to nurture my inner 10 year old.

I've never been a fan of mushy stuff... except oreos!

I either twist and eat separately, or I dip in milk. I don't do both. I like the cookie to absorb some milk and soften, and if you don't have the inner filling intact, the cookie breaks.

Not a fan of the stuffing (crisco plus a ton of powdered sugar... ugh) and the cookie bits themselves are rather "meh". Rather have a oatmeal raisin or choco chip, if I wanted chocolate I'd rather have a twix or kitkat....

Dipping oreos you don't get enough milk, soaking them you get a rush of milk and chocolate and sweet frosting all in the first bite, if you want texture, bite into a soaked one and then dry one. It's worth a try if you have some in the pantry.

I like Kit Kats. Unless I’m with 4 or more people.

Heresy above must be exposed!
The original slogan for Cap'n Crunch was
"It's got corn for crunch, oats for punch, and it stays crunchy, even in milk."
You really have to try hard to make it soggy.

Oreos?
Twist/lick/eat the cookie (why does that sound salacious?)

I am a connoisseur, I eat at least two every day, and I shop across NA for the different flavors. I even have Oreo popcorn.

I have never seen the churro flavor. Yet...

Yep, you've got to let it sit a long time.

Keeps the inside of your mouth from getting ground up like you were eating light bulbs too.

Dunking in milk is the best way to enjoy them. It's a delicate balance: enough milk to make them a delicacy without overdoing it and making them soggy or even worse--falling apart into the milk.

I preferred Hydrox cookies. I think they're extinct now.
