Recommendations for a detailer and also curb rash repair in Naples FL
I just flew back to CT after driving a car down to Florida for a friend.
The car is a 2019 BMW Z4 roadster. It only had 10,900 miles on it at the start of the trip. A fun car for a road trip. But, I only put the top down once since the temperature on most days was over 100 degrees. Anyway, my friend asked me about getting her car detailed and curb rash on one of the wheels repaired. I told her that I would check with PPOT because they know everything. Does anyone familiar with the Naples, FL area have recommendations for a detailer and also for a wheel repair shop? |

I’ve used Naples Car Wash (2595 Tamiami Trail E, Naples, FL 34112) for detailing and was satisfied, this was a year or so ago. Not sure for wheel repair.

It's not Naples, but 1.5 hours North is Sarasota Wheel Repair. They did an excellent job fixing two bent rims on my ZL1. I was a walk-in customer, and they did the work in less than a day. Better yet, the owner took me to lunch while the work was being done.

A pic of the wheel could be useful.

I was expecting the request to be a pic of the friend.

As requested, here is a pic of the wheel. My guess is that the rash needs to be repaired and then the wheel painted.

A good technician could grind the scrapes and paint the wheel to match. To do a nice job, the wheel looks like it needs to be stripped and powder coated.
