Bartesian drinking
These things are advertised on the radio constantly. It takes your alcohol and adds dehydrated mixers, like a keurig cocktail maker. Anyone see one at a party or get one? They clearly have a large advertising budget.

Another thread that has nothing to do with statistics. :(
When it comes to cocktails, Lois Lane is more interesting than I. For me...scotch and a splash of water. Sorry Shaun. Back to your regularly scheduled programming...... . |
They're cute - but best enjoyed at someone else's house. With someone else's booze.
This trinket is solving a problem that doesn't exist. That said, there is some awkward "charm" in those old powdered drink mixers from 50+ years ago. Like a gin "fizz" or a whisky "sour". Just a few envelopes of that magic can make the old "briefcase/liquor chest" travel set really sing, particularly if it's poolside at the Howard Johnsons. Perhaps this DRM-enabled overcomplicated ****-crap will be cool someday for our grandkids? |
Nearly any drink astes great after two or three of them.

100% no. Buy your own ingredients and learn to make a few classic cocktails yourself. This is an appliance that you'll likely use a few times, only for its novelty, then commit to the "storage cabinet".
Just my .02. |

WTF?
Does it rim the glass for you? That's most of the work. Now you need to clean the thing. Get off my lawn! :D |
Similar to a cocktail robot a few coworkers built. This was probably circa 2014 and was controlled by an iPad. Had mixers and booze and a nice UI. Made for some fun cocktail hours at work.

^^^ that is pretty impressive!

Freshman year of college, there was a guy who stayed in his dorm room, drank vodka mixed with pre-sweetened Kool-Aid. He didn't come back for sophomore year.
I guess he was ahead of his time. |

I am still in search of the perfect Old Fashioned. Now and again they are amazing. Many times, not. At least I have G&Ts and Sidecars perfected. You should ask Lois to make you a Penicillin: blended scotch, fresh lemon juice, honey ginger syrup (or honey and muddled ginger), top with an Islay single malt. I'm looking forward to getting some scotch. There are variations. |

I think the act of making a proper cocktail is almost as enjoyable as the cocktail itself….I enjoy the process (and the drinking!) so the above contraption is not attractive to me at all.

I think I’ll try an old fashion. What did the guy in the video say about squirrels? I got the sprite ( I’m assuming the soda) but missed the other two.
Help please. |

I fully respect the upper midwest's charm and quirks, as a survivor myself, but IMHO that cocktail is about the booze with just a little sweet and spice mixed in. But thank you anyway - when is it too early to hit the grocery for some bourbon? Maybe a jar of cherries, just to manage some solid food into this "brunch?" |

Sprite for sweet, Squirt for sour, Club soda if you're waiting for marriage. Squirt is a grapefruit flavored soda made by Dr Pepper. Going to see him in November. He's a Wisconsin stand up comic. |
Thank you.
