Paze payment method
Any thoughts on it? Chase is offering it, I can opt out.
Meet Paze, a convenient new online checkout, offered by Chase, that comes with added security by not sharing your actual card numbers with online merchants. As a benefit to cardholders, Chase will be offering Paze, an easy way to check out online. Soon, your eligible Chase credit and debit cards will be linked to Paze. Choose Paze as a checkout option when checking out with participating online merchants. We'll notify you when Paze is ready to use. For now, learn more about Paze by visiting chase.com/paze. |
Hmm, I got the exact same offer from Capitol One. Looks to be an Apple Pay competitor.
|
Like 911D says, appears to be a competitor to ApplePay. Not bank specific, independent, like Zelle. And not using your card number is the main security measure for Apple Pay as well.

One time use card numbers are common and have been for some time in Europe from what I understand.
|
My Capital One CC has offered " virtual " card numbers for a while . I think most are going to the same . It's another layer of protection.

According to my Chase email.
"Select Paze at checkout the next time you’re shopping with a participating online merchant." The participting merchant directory only shows 20 participating merchants. Seems use is rather limited at the current time. https://www.paze.com/merchant-directory |
Online payment with Paze results in less driving with Waze.
|
Is it wise to use Waze if you pay with Paze?
|
The Dali Lama uses Paze and Waze.
