Hint: that's a fairly famous Viper...

Well I've been accused of living under a rock, so maybe that's why I don't know about it.

Are you buying it?

Search YouTube for "SuperfastMatt".

I'm a little reluctant to do that, as the suspension is all open and if he slips, he will be very injured. If I can get his harness on him and get him buckled in, then maybe...

Checked the car today - 26 miles now on the odometer since installing the new battery (it's a bicycle speedometer!). 90% on the lithium batteries. We've been up and down some very hilly territory in Palos Verdes, and also been charging in the sun. I don't think my solar panel controller has a "log" on it that shows total kilowatt hours input, and the opposite - amps used per hour also seems to be calibrated to the previous 108-volt bus (it says it's pulling 400 amps chugging up the hill, which is way too much).

Took it to a "toys for tots" car show yesterday. Made it there fine. Looked a little out of place amongst all of the muscle cars (Sesame Street - "Which of these things is not like the other?").

Lots of people were hovering, but I didn't really feel like answering questions. I put a flyer on the car with a link to the website domain I just bought for it (https://neverpluggedin.com). I should have anticipated a lot of attention and my natural instinct to avoid talking about stuff at car shows, and not worn my MIT sweatshirt, and MIT t-shirt, and my Tour de Sol hat. :)
