Cool tool test videos - adjustable wrenches and counterfeit cordless tools
I guess I never really look in a way that I'd stumble across the counterfeits or maybe when I notice a "too good to be true" price, I don't even register having seen them and keep on scrolling.
Counterfeit drills and impacts. How should you orient an adjustable/crescent/knuckle-buster wrench. I had 6", 8", and 10" adjustable wrenches, but occasionally found myself wishing I had a 12", so I recently bought and old Fuller made in Japan 12" off of ebay for $7.99. I think it was a good deal, and probably as good or better than anything available today. The results were a little interesting.

It seems there's some pretty good new "Craftsman" open-end-box-end wrenches out there. Still, I think I've got several sets of wrenches, mostly old craftsman as well as a set of gearwrench ratcheting wrenches. I don't think I need any new ones.

There are also a LOT of counterfeit Stihl two strokes out there, chain saws, and backpack blowers...don't buy anything new off Marketplace. A ten-year-old Stihl is probably a safer bet.

Torque test channel is one of my favorites, guy has a great sense of humor and I like the subject matter.
He kinda took over where AVE channel left off. I miss the old AVE BOLTR (bored of lame tool reviews) tool disections. He still does them every now and then definately worth watching

Folks buy them in bulk (by the pallet, I think), and then they check them out and then resell them. That's probably the most likely in my head. 2 You got a counterfeit. It seems like a lot/most are pretty obvious upon examination. Check out the Dewalt website or the big box stores, and compare photos to what you've got. Look the thing over carefully. I suspect you'll be able to spot whether it's "close, but not quite." My guess is that you got one of the returns.

Project Farm and Torque test...both top notch tool test channels. There are others I like as well. Also, tool box tours, etc. All great stuff when planning a tool buy.
But then, not all tool buys are planned. More than a few of my tools were bought when I was into a project resulting in a trip to a local FLAPS or hardware store to buy a whatever needed. Also, as Masarum said in the wrench test, I'm sure not going to toss an old working and still functional tool in order to buy the latest & greatest according to testing.

Now I’m worried about the Milwaukee 3/8”driver I bought off FBMB. It was working great but lately seems to be slowing down. I need to check the batteries and the type of screw holding it together. That said, I’ve been using the snot out of it lately and maybe over did it?

I’ve noticed on FBMP, pictures showing garages full of Dewalt or Milwaukee tools. Makes me wonder how they got all those…

Its almost everything. Tools, batteries, spark plugs and on and on. They are counterfeiting damn near anything you can think of.
