Love my Bauer Battery Tools

Stopped at Harbor Freight today and picked this up. 9ft extension and 8in cutting bar.
Photo is with the main beam collapsed. (about 5ft long) I like how they tilted the saw part....easy to rest it on the limb and takes very little pressure for it to zip through it.

I have about a dozen of their different battery tools and they've all been great.

^^^ The batteries are a little pricey, but the 5amp ones last a long time before needed recharge.
My favorite ones are the 1gal lawn sprayer or the air compressor.

I have a Spruce Pine that has a lot of dead limbs inside the good limbs. Can't get a ladder in there....this will be perfect for cutting them out.

Only chainsaw I could find local in Florida for IAN cleanup. It did not dissapoint, I cut down and cut up that tree, and it almost did it on a single charge.

I had some pros taking down some very large trees, at first they laughed at the 20v cordless, but they were happy to use it when they climbed the tree to delimb.

^^^ Yes, I have that one also. It is super nice to use when you are on a ladder and have only one hand for the saw.

That is a good size tree for a battery powered saw.

Battery powered weed wacker is my best purchase. I just works. I have had 2, 2 cycle ones and hate them.

^^^ I was looking at that one this morning...it was on the same shelf as the pole saw.
If I didn't have a fairly new Echo gas trimmer, I would get it.

If I use the Echo for more than 10 minutes or so, the vibrations cause my hands to shake when done. Plus, the electric looks way lighter.

The electric is very light. My big problem is, I am not a 2 cycle guy. When new they are a slight pain to start. When they get old they are a big pain, for me. I just do not like them and do not want to replace fuel lines every season. Its probably a me problem but that does not matter. With the battery one its a no problem.

I agree. It's rare for me to reach for an AC or gas powered tool if I have a battery equivalent.

My problem is I'm stuck with gas and corded electric trimmers and cutters that are decades old and still work relly well. I have a corded, extendable trimmer with a chain saw head that I might retire in favor of the Bauer trimmer Steve posted the picture of. It's pretty heavy and unweildy. For chain saws, I have a good Huskvarna and a corded, electric, 4 hp. McCullough (sp.?) I've had for four or five decades that works really well. For whackers, I have two older gas models that work well, a ten amp, corded electric Ryobi that works great for my heavy growth on slopes, and a 42 cc. Huskvarna gas model for heavy duty stuff and cutting smaller trees and bushes with a saw blade. That doesn't include my string mower and old Honda gas mower & some other things. It's tempting to entertain the idea of buying new stuff, but I have so much old stuff that works too well.

I have the same deal with my hands shaking after using something causing vibrations. Trying to write something after, is an exercise in futility. What’s the reason behind it?

BTW… I have the craftsman version of the battery powered pole saw. I can’t believe what it can do on such a small battery.

I searched and came up with this...https://www.google.com/search?q=nerve+damage+to+my+hands+after+using+a+we ed+trimmer&gs_ivs=1#tts=0

I have a pair of gel biking gloves...I think I'll try wearing those while trimming.
