Aran La is only 10 years old, and I wish I could post here his drawing on page 38
of this month's (Sept) issue of Panorama, but I couldn't get it to post, Perhaps someone else could. Worth seeing.

The kid has a gifted talent - very artistic.

That is almost how I got my start. I was 13 yrs old and sent drawings to GM and Chrysler. I wanted to be a car designer. I still have the letters that are 60 yrs old. I had an art scholarship at 16 which my dad turned down. There was no art/design career for me. Art was not viable to him. My career took me into mechanical engineering.

I never lost my passion for art - I have a studio in my home, and I continue to sketch and paint in pastels.

My youngest who is 30 is an art teacher. I never discouraged him or try to stifle his artistic ability.

This boy has a future, and I wish him all the best.
