Charlotte - Godspeed Motor

Anyone in the Charlotte area have any insight into Godspeed Motors - good, bad or others? My brother lives in MT and is looking at an Aston Martin just for fun, but it is a long way to go to kick tires. It is also not an option for him as his wife suffered a spinal cord injury several years back and travel is largely limited to by car right now.

If there is anyone willing to look at the car or test drive I know that he and I would be extremely thankful.

My brother is responsible for my Porsche 911 entry...I asked him if he knew what he was doing with an Aston, but hard to argue with a 4.7L V8.

Garage
I have driven past this place in the recent past, it is back in an industrial park. So it is an actual place. Other than that I don't know of any of their business reputation. It looks like they sell vehicles on consignment, there are several around here.

Thanks gents - my brother was looking for a "steal". They have a Vantage with 65K miles for low $$s - what could possibly go wrong... The top alone is $15K, and a PPI is $1300 at the Aston dealership. I think he is passing as the sales guys seem completely disinterested in actually selling the car. Very strange, but suspect this is a tired car, and they know it.

No one gets a great deal on a low priced Aston.... It can become the most expensive Aston in short order.....

Cheers

Yeah - he knows that, I told him that, and yet the lure of being the "one lucky guy..." He passed on this car, and my counsel was that a $35K Aston is gonna cost $60K at some point to get up to a $50K well looked after car someone just wants rid of...

I briefly considered an Aston Martin a few years back, but was informed that Aston will not sell parts to a private owner, or even body shops.

If the car got damaged, it would have to be shipped to the nearest factory authorized repair dealership, which at the time was in San Fransisco.
The Seattle (Bellevue) dealership was trying to get authorized, and maybe they are by now.

I said I would also need the factory shop manual, as I perform my own maintenance.
I don't think the sales dude had never had that question before.
Apparently, the typical Aston owner does not have greasy fingernails.
