Ha. That's funny. That would be a good one. There was one hotrod like that at SEMA last year, complete with the leash tied to the rear bumper.

But alas, that is not it.

Clue: similar size to that.

daepp 10-22-2024 11:11 AM

917?

aschen 10-22-2024 11:11 AM

Way cheaper, way bigger, and way heavier.

Pretty much the opposite of this, although maybe bigger.

KFC911 10-22-2024 11:20 AM

A station wagon ...

Or a hearse?

Slightly modified...

daepp 10-22-2024 11:22 AM

A period correct hauler? I'm guessing you could probably use one anyways...

Not a station wagon, not a hearse. Same size though.

Measured, longer than a Cyber Truck.

Wayne 962 10-22-2024 11:23 AM

Not a car hauler, but that's an excellent guess. I have been looking at those for years.

I think the new addition could fit inside the car hauler.

Wayne 962 10-22-2024 11:24 AM

I'm trying to think of an oddball clue that won't give it away.

Okay, here's one - it has knock-off wheels.

KFC911 10-22-2024 11:27 AM

Stretch limo?

I'm just burnin' ??? until 20...

LEAKYSEALS951 10-22-2024 11:30 AM

Leno just did a film on a restomod MGBGT with knockoff Dunlop wheels.

So, I'm going to say a restomod MGBGT with a Rover V8 engine with 375 horsepower and a leather interior.

Not quite that long. It's 225" long.

Much bigger than that, although that car is cool.

The new car does have a V8.

Wayne 962 10-22-2024 12:13 PM

More clues?

The car was local. That's a clue.

javadog 10-22-2024 12:22 PM

Rolls Silver Cloud?

Not a bad guess, but as mentioned previous, not European.

This new car is bigger than the Silver Cloud.

Wayne 962 10-22-2024 12:26 PM

Summary of some clues so far:

- Larger than a cyber truck
- Knock off wheels
- Local to Los Angeles
- Not European
- V8
- Modified
- Fits with the collection of oddball stuff

One of the clues above is a bigger clue than it seems.

Some sort of Shelby?

Ticks a few of the above boxes.

herr_oberst 10-22-2024 12:49 PM

Did "Ah-nold" drive one of these while he was Governator?

Not a Shelby, not a Ford.

rockfan4 10-22-2024 01:16 PM

Did you buy a batmobile?

Did you buy a firetruck?

Wayne 962 10-22-2024 01:20 PM

You guys are getting slightly closer.

Wayne 962 10-22-2024 01:20 PM

More clues?

Wayne 962 10-22-2024 01:21 PM

It is some type of "custom". Think Los Angeles...

masraum 10-22-2024 01:26 PM

I was going to say this, but you've already said "not a hearse"

It's much better looking than that. Nearly everyone likes it (to my surprise). It belongs to a certain category / class that can go wild like that, but this one is super cool and super tastefully done.
