Squirrels are smart for such a small brain…I wish today’s kids were that resilient.
Anyways, I’ve bought capsaicin from the ccp (shipped in mylar to get pass customs as it’s a white powder) to keep rodents away. Little dilution and 💥 💥 |
I don't want to kill the little buggers, just don't want them living in my attic. Lol.

Oh, it won’t kill them.
Just keeps them away with a little spice. |
This is the repellant that I used. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...63d8f32ec4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...36851207d3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...50b5ccd327.jpg

Squirrels are pretty fearless rodents.
Today one was a-fixing to jump on my bird feeder to clear it out. Again. I walked right up to it. It gave me a pitty look. Finally it relented and climbed down to observe from a higher spot. I put seed down on the ground further instead. Lure them away. To yer neighbor's yard. |
This morning, I observed a squirrel jump about 10 feet from one tree limb to another tree. It was pretty impressive. Yesterday, I put some peanuts (that are in the shell) out on a big rock in the lower part of my backyard, and they are still there. It looks like nothing has touched them. The few squirrels around here must be picky eaters. Lol.
Friday morning, and the spikey ball is still where I placed it. [emoji106] Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk |

The "one-way squirrel excluder" arrived yesterday. I am certain that the squirrels have vacated the attic as the spikey ball I placed in the access hole last Tuesday has not moved, and we haven't heard any noises from the attic. It has been too hot the past couple of days, and I have been dealing with a stomach virus, so I haven't been in the attic yet to confirm that they have left, but I am 99.9% thinking they are gone.
I will probably just keep the "excluder" just in case we have this issue again. The little picture of the house and squirrel made me laugh. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9385218d4d.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...1ac2a24ac5.jpg Sent from my SM-S916U using Tapatalk |
