Friend was sharing with me, one of his too many VW projects, a customized kit car body. He purchased it from an elderly man that put a lot of time into it. I suggested to mount it on a low budget baja, to make it into a sporty dune buggy. He offered to sell it for $600, but it's not my thing, figured a Pelican might be interested. It might make a cool lemons racer or low budget project for your kid. If anyone is interested, I can provide his contact. Inspection and pick up from Placerville CA 95667.

Sorry, he'll need to pay me more than $600 to take that off his hands. ;)

I remember reading articles about this car in the early 70's.
It looked terrific with wonderful reviews in the car mags. Of coarse I was 15yrs old.

Bought one with a ‘64 VW chassis with trans, but no engine for $150…. Sold it for the same. No regerts.

They’re out there. A few nice ones. Most go the way of any other project car. SunRay still sells parts and windows, so there’s that. Mine was too cut up and missing too much. And the kid wasn’t interested.

I did consider jacking it up and making it into a Gambler 500 kind of critter.
