That was a little league fly ball.
Sinking liner to CF and #99 miffs the catch and opens the door.
Doyers win the series.

I watched it also....that wasn't the only bad play by the Yankees.
If George Steinbrenner was still around....heads would roll.

Counterclockwise?

That was one of the worst innings I have ever seen!
Not to mention it being the final game of the world series.

You’ve got to hand it to the Dodgers and boy, did they ever. I would have preferred a better WS but the result was right. I bleed blue. 💙

They could make money selling DVD's of just that inning alone so coaches could show it to their little league teams on how NOT to play baseball.
Talk about embarrassing on a PRO level, sheesh.

To win a World Series a team must play almost flawless baseball. The Yankees blew the first game when Ohtani hit a double and then took third on the misplay by the second baseman from the throw from the outfield. Yankees literally gave two games to the Dodgers.

And Cole not covering first base was another little league move.

As bad as Buckner.
BTW, the Netflix mini series "Comeback" on the 03-04 Red Sox is awesomely good.

The Dodger's at bat in the 5th inning is a treatment of a movie script NO one would buy.
I have never seen anything like it, in a game let along an inning. I was hoping for 6/7 games.

I heard Judge will be celebrating New Years in Times Square. He's there to drop the ball.

On Gutfeld! the night before the last game. Tyrus, a Red Sox fan, did a bit on the Yankees not having a prayer. The (NY) Audience gave a chorus of boos.
Tyrus: "You might scare Jamie (Lithgow) with that, but I'll wait for you outside." The line of the night..

Three errors in that inning iirc. two egregious. The dropped fly ball and the failure to cover first were simply not ok. Sadly Judge lost the game for the Yanks. Chisholm's homer was an awesome bit of hitting to watch. Thought Ohtani's catcher interference was an awful loopy swing by a guy with a busted wing who couldn't otherwise contribute.
It was a fun series to watch, was rooting against the yanks but kinda bummed it ended.

Judge: Goat, literally. Bush league, too painful to watch the 5th inning. If Billy Martin was around, he’d have ripped him a new one…
