2026 Honda Passport Trailsport reveal day today

Been checking youtube daily for the reveal ever since they showed it in camo in moab a few weeks ago. Have not been this excited for a new vehicle in a long time. Open youtube today and there it is! Need to see some road tests first but confident I will be buying one as soon as they are available.

I like the exterior orange color. I was expecting a higher price....not bad.

I wouldn’t expect it to cost more than the pilot.

While not a body on frame, it’s a steal compared to the Land Cruiser and TRD models of the Gen 6 4Runner (look how Toyota massacred my boy!)

uggggg,

I've owned several Rodeos and Passports, older. the 3.2l direct injection was stellar.

fugly box.

sigh.

they're just another bubble car. just like Subarus or Nissan Pathfinders.

soccer moms rejoice.

I like it because of its styling. Looks like an SUV should look, finally. To me, it’s absolutely beautiful. Its AWD system is also awesome

And doesn’t rip off the consumer like Toyota does (Land Cruiser 1958) and certainly more capable than Pathfinder. And keeps a 6 cyl NA engine and not turbo 4 (Tacoma/4Runner). And won’t stop working within 500 miles (Grand Cherokee) or have to have the body off to open the engine on a brand new vehicle to fix the cam phaser (Ranger Raptor) I admit I don’t like cylinder deactivation but nobody makes a perfect vehicle except maybe GX-550 which cost more than I would spend on a vehicle that will reside in the rust belt

My son has a 23 Trailsport Pilot. They love it. He doesn't do any rough stuff with it. He saves that for his little Samurai. I've always been impressed with Honda/Acura.
