Just remembered this one. I didn’t get a ticket, but I did get pulled over about 2016, in Alpharetta Georgia on hwy 400, when I was on the truck speakerphone with Ms Rocket. I saw the cop on the side of the road. Traffic was heavy, I wasn’t weaving or speeding, yet he pulled me over. I lowered the windows, turned off the ignition and waited for him, as he came up on the passenger side. He said I was weaving and wanted to know if I was drinking. I think that was bull**** and he was looking for something else or out of state plates. Or maybe it was the dark tinted windows.

Anyway it was bogus and I decided if I ever get pulled over again, I’m going to set my phone up to record the interaction.

I get it! When I was working, I drove a C class Mercedes, and later a 535 BMW ( hated that car). I had a Valentine 1 and basically drove on the radar. I made it from Sterling, Colorado to Lincoln, Nebraska in a time that figured out to be a 90+ mph average.

In the late 2000s (2008?) I got ticketed in my Mercedes for 79 in a 65 zone. They had planes flying over checking speeds on 57 North in Illinious. The planes couldn't register accurate speeds, so they radioed to the ground cars that someone was going "too fast." It was a sunny Sunday morning with no traffic, and I was going north of 100 mph for miles and miles, and I knew the plane probably clocked me. I got charged with 79 in a 65 zone. The lawyer said it was because I was out of state, and the aerial speed record could be challenged as inaccurate. They didn't want to contest a ticket that required me to appear, so they gave me a cheap option - pay them $55 for 79 mph (14 0ver the limit) instead of the much more expensive 15 over the limit that would likely be challenged and have the officer appear.

They pretty much stopped traffic enforcement during the pandemic is my understanding of tje situation, couple years. They are back at it now, not giving up that revenue stream forever

Back in 1981. Crossing the Mississippi River Bridge in New Orleans, driving my 914. Got it fixed.

Oh man, its been a while . I got one probably 12-13 years ago . My kid had a bloody nose, and the trooper took pity on me and gave me a too fast for conditions , no points ticket . We were trying to get to the next exit to clean him up .
Driving pick up trucks for the last 18 years probably saved me a bunch . Im back in cars now, and my next one will probably be a whopper .
Fk it . Life is short. Drive fast, run red lights, and eat the cake .

In Winnipeg this year. Photo radar.

12 mph over the limit in a construction zone on a Sunday morning at 7am.

$635 fine. No way to fight it.

Don't go to Winnipeg. It's a dump.
