Rain gutters and downspouts $$$$
This summer I had a new roof with new gutters and downspouts installed. The gutter guys had left over material so I asked them to make it into gutters and leave them for me to install on my garage. Enough was left over to do my garage and extra left over. Never having done this before I watched some YouTube and dove in. I bought downspouts and learned how to mitre the angles so they would contour to the ground. Now I have to put up some leaf guards that I bought today. All told gutters, downspouts, brackets and leaf guards are still costing near $700 for about 52 feet of coverage. Oh, all this is ladder work at the second story.

Looks great! I have a "gutter guy" here that's been doing it for many years. He did my house after I bought it in 1996 and the gutters are still working fine! I did lose the back gutter during one of the 2004 hurricanes.....but ended up extending the roof back there anyway with a canopy over my back deck, so no biggie.
