This is such a great car and is the Jaguar we all know and Love. The shot from the middle of the windscreen looking over the bulge in the middle of the hood and the rows of glorious louvers flanking each side is the perfect picture to go along with that fantastic engine note.
It is a bit funny watching and listening to him shoehorn himself into the driver's seat. Lol.

I thoroughly enjoyed my ‘61 Roadster. The view down the bonnet is indeed magnificent but it’s also a little intimidating when you are waving that front end around. It’s feels a long way in front of you but you get used to it.

Back then, if using a car for attracting young women was the goal, the E type had it pretty much in the bag. I mean, just look at it...a rolling phallic symbol.
