Anyone flown Breeze?
Saw a billboard for Breeze Airlines this morning. They have started routes out of Lansing..about an hour away from my place.
I hadn't heard of them so I searched....They fly out of 66 airports so far. Most are east of the Mississippi. They fly Airbus A220-300 with seats for 137 ...one aisle with seats of 2 and 3 on each side. Their website shows rates that are very good. I think it's a fairly new airline. They avoid large major airports to reduce ticket prices. |
As of January 2025, Breeze Airways flies out of 66 airports in the United States. The airline has added many new airports to its route map since it began operations in May 2021.
New airports Bangor, ME: Offers flights to Orlando, Tampa, and Fort Myers Dallas Fort Worth, TX: A new city for Breeze Airways Lancaster, PA: A new city for Breeze Airways Lansing, MI: A new city for Breeze Airways Pensacola, FL: A new city for Breeze Airways Burlington, VT: A new airport for Breeze Airways Denver, CO: A new airport for Breeze Airways Evansville, IN: A new airport for Breeze Airways Grand Junction, CO: A new airport for Breeze Airways Greenville/Spartanburg, SC: A new airport for Breeze Airways Operating bases Charleston, SC, Fort Myers, Hartford, New Haven, New Orleans, Norfolk, Orlando, Providence, Provo, and Sarasota. |
With a name like “Breeze”, you would think they would be flying Boeings!

^^^ lol
Check out their website....very modern looking with lots of room between seats. https://www.flybreeze.com/page/breeze-onboard-offering . |

"They call me the Breeze! I keep blowin' down the road! Hey, that's a Lynyrd Skynyrd song! Whoah, didn't that band have an infamous plane crash that killed a bunch of band members? Maybe there's a reason "Breeze" hasn't already been taken in the airline business" (edit, I had to play that song after I wrote this post. Damn, that's some tasty guitar work by those guys.) |

Their motto is..."The Seriously Nice Airline"
|
"They call us The Breeze, the seriously nice airline"

Flew Breeze to Phoenix once a while back. They only flew two days a week or something weird like that and then they cancelled our return flight…had to return on American.

^^^ I would never fly it then....I hate the smell of Febreeze.:)

I forgot about 'Summer Breeze' but I've heard 'Call Me the Breeze' so many times that I'll never forget it.
They should paint that on the side of their jets. |
"Join the Mile High Club during your romantic Summer Breeze flight"

We tried to book a flight with them one time, and after multiple attempts, we finally gave up. Haven’t tried since.

Thanks for that info....seems they are going through some growing pains. All flights this season seem to have jumped higher from here. I don't think it will get much better. |
I used them all the time for providence to Charleston SC. I have no issues with them. I’ll certainly use again.
|
^^^ Thanks....a good vote!
The booking website is well laid out with lots of options. I like the looks of the seats....I can't sit for 3 hours in those shell seats that don't recline because of my back. |
