Chapter 13 Bankruptcy in 3...2....1...

Wow. I could see Will I Am driving one of those, and maybe someone living in those planned communities where they allow golf carts on the streets, but otherwise $80K+ is a lot to spend on a toy that ugly--both of 'em. I don't think I'm enough of a bon vivant to be in their target audience.

I like the coupe. It looks A LOT better than the gaping-catfish grill on the last generations of Lexus cars. People buy those things. The truck - not so much.

I think I'll wait for the '46 Bulgemobile. Same. same........

i am the sultan of farawayistan. my third wife keeps wanting to borrow the gull wing to go shopping on rodeo drive.

i give her the olympian, tell her it was really expensive. she is happy and stops bugging me for a while.

Model 01 looks like a Mini Cooper, a Peugeot and a Volkswagen got drunk, had a threeway and then the Mom just kept on drinking heavily.

LEAKYSEALS951 02-01-2025 04:10 PM

my favorite was the stripped drivetrain for a cool 50K.

Even went to research the wheelbase/width to see what body would fit over it... 904, volvo 122 wagon, etc. It's fun to daydream, but could find no info.

Oh well.... Thanks for sharing.

I see some '37 Ford sedan in it.

You guys are missing out, they are looking for investors.

herr_oberst 02-01-2025 04:51 PM

The Cybertruck is still champ at the ugly awards.

L8Brakr 02-01-2025 05:52 PM

Gimme a sawzall and 15 minutes. I'll separate that green/white coupe right along the color break..

I'll have an electric TR3 with a nice touch of "Cars" movie personality!!! :D

They should be looking for some designers, too...

Amphicar and a TR3/Morgan hybrid. Lovely…

Here we are naysaying them but they’re betting big.

Damn. I have seen 6 year olds with better looking car designs. Ugly AND expensive.

How is it that Group Think has allowed a number of people to think that these are a good idea? Yuck.

The opening scene, Model 01, made me think Disney was doing a version two of the movie Cars.

sc_rufctr 02-01-2025 11:59 PM

I guess they're trying to stand out from the crowd.

But how many people will find these vehicles desirable? Not many...
