Machinerys Handbook...32 Edition

I was asked to write the lubrication section for the Machinerys Handbook...32 Edition

Check it out: https://www.amazon.com/Machinerys-Handbook-Toolbox-Erik-Oberg/dp/0831137320/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1KV7A84KSBHIU&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.zYx ZApPa2bor2mXWT8eBI1sxuWKv8EnjrlNxcbFnBaFIy8r-yDJ9Y9zLaTaZ1f5Bq9hxeSSOUXcFpzCybggbkpAyj1MVAhHJHg uZ4il_Wa9b2e3wwGC41SMyfxJ7CIxVDQUN1QscO8asRr74Wasp LpWmEpvV1MnBgSA9sAgdjyYtcVmt4na_009eNDjrt9gr.KyWY7 AiewNbG2xz5FPbJW-7lN53kQgi16YWK2QU-ggw&dib_tag=se&keywords=machinerys+handbook+32nd+e dition&qid=1738939349&sprefix=machinerys+handbook+ %2Caps%2C154&sr=8-1

That's quite an honor, congrats!

Is there a Cliff Notes version?

URY914 02-07-2025 06:09 AM

Very nice. Please make it clear that WD40 is not an oil for lubrication.

Nice cap-feather, Mike! IIRC, this isn't the first time you've written a section for the MH?

(PS, just the other day I was marveling that the coaster you gave me years ago is still like new- after daily use for years and years, it still fakes me out that it's not leather!)

That's great!

And for Paul - here are 2 graphics for the Cliff Notes version:

Wow, I have the 20th edition from my days as a apprentice.

Used it last week.

Congrats!

I have 19th from my Father signed by Dr. Beckman who bought his company.

Tribology has come a long way as has vibe analysis.
IR completes the predictive maintenance trio.

*Another feather.
Added that to that long wall of accolades but not the roof
j/k j/k. too much dung slung here

May we all be so equally succinct in finishing a goal.

I would be be happy with speaking engineering.
It's all Greek to me.
