A hot cam and valve springs would be a better investment.


Are you still running the truck intake or have you gone to something with a lower profile?

Still running the truck intake manifold . Yeah the seller mentioned to me if/when I want more power the best bang for the buck is a cam upgrade . The stock 5.3 has more than enough oomph for this light truck chassis . I am good as is ........... for now :D
