Ok, this is crazy. How do you get Dodgers games on TV in LA??
How can it be this confusing to get baseball games?
My dad wants to get the dodgers games. Preferably including home games. They have Cox cable for their stations, and aren’t keen to change it. What’s the easiest, hopefully cost effective way? I’ve googled it, and it’s bewildering! |

They have a smart tv and can use apps.
I see mlb.com has packages, but they don’t seem to include home games. |

Are their games carried on Peacock streaming?
If so, a subscription is required.

Not on Peacock.
They’re fine getting a subscription to something. I just can’t figure out what. |

This sort of thing makes me so glad that I am not into sports. So the games aren't available on broadcast TV? I guess only the pay-for options can afford them. Seems crazy.

Maybe a streaming station only?

I think I figured it out.
They need to cancel their Cox TV subscription, and sign up for DirectTV instead its place. DirectTV is apparently affiliated with Spectrum, so they get SportsNet LA. With that, all 181 Dodgers games are available. ![]() |

Good deal.
I remember how much my father enjoyed watching Tiger games...if they weren't on tv, he tuned the radio in.
