My Hot Rod vandalized

Yeah, kept my '29 Chevy in my daughter's garage, someone broke in and stole a snow blower, some tools and stuck a knife in two of my tires. I was not pleased.

That appears to be the only damage to my car, glad in a way that I didn't catch them in the act....because I didn't have a knife and might have ended up with one stuck in me.

So now I just ordered 2 Cooper Cobra tires, and try to forget it ever happened.

Picture from last fall. The tires (Coopers) always come with white lettering and I wanted
to put the lettering out, but my friends wont let me they say it will ruin the look of the car.

Anyone have any thoughts on that, let me know.

Time to talk to an alarm company? They'll probably return...

Wtf would someone knife the tires???

Theft has a motive. This is senseless vandalism. Look for some dumb kids I think.

What kind of Dick head cuts tires when they're robbing the place.
Given the winter we're having, I can understand stealing the snow blower, but come on!

Glad no one was hurt. Tires and stuff can be replaced.

That's a damn shame.
Keep an eye out for someone blowing snow who never did it that way before too.

As to the lettering, yeah, not on a car like that, keep it black wall out. And I'd go so far as to black out the lettering inside too. Just because.

First of all, your '29 makes the world a better place...sorry for the damage.

Given that: If you put the white lettering out you will violation of all that is right in the world.

No pressure

There's NEVER a good argument for white letters out.

They look bad, it's a scientific fact.

Fixed it for you!

Sorry to hear this, slashed tyres suck but could have been so much worse

Hope they get sacked into the snow blower and parts of their body turn into a red mist

Another vote for hide the white tyre lettering

It's amazing what some Americans will do after losing a hockey game.

Had my car get vandalized in high school.

Found out who did it and salted his parent's yard. Everything died.

Black walls out for that car. I had a thread a year ago or so and did white lettering out on my mustang.

Sorry you had to deal with that, pain…

Sorry to hear that. Maritimes are certainly not what they used to be. I'm in Moncton and everything has to be locked up. Perhaps yoiu can find a set of white letter canadain tire Tornados for the car?

That pic was taken a while back before I fixed the front fenders.
