Getting in the mindset for summer sailing and came across the video. This is a very nice vessel with such nice sleek lines, and the boat isn't bad either. [emoji1787]

So, 110 feet, what figure $250m? Carbon fiber floors? Seem too slick if your feet are wet, just saying

Storage areas are recessed with sharp edges and ladders. Furniture has sharp edges. Steep stairs don't have handrails. I don't think they mentioned lighting or proximity heaters when skimming through the video. The deck is open, flat, with zero wind protection for sitting areas or helm but still lots of dangerous things to trip over. Try playing cards up there hah. What's the point of waking in bed and the window is underwater. It doesn't look very comfortable for relaxing in the high seas.

For that kind of kind of couch change and real estate perhaps there might be room for a garaged runabout or two. Or a hot tub.

The above seems written by someone who has known the motion of not calm seas...often sailing open seas is like trying to walk during an earthquake...a boat designed to injure those foolish enough to sail her in anything but ideal conditions. Need 35 feet (estimated) water depth to avoid grounding. Haven't even thought of the electronics and salt water...Sir Francis Chichester is spinning in his grave. Looks like quite the rocket ship on the water. I still prefer a small multi.

Yeah, that hull looks like a racing design with the wave piercing bow and triangular shape that gets wider toward the stern. It also has a retractable keel when in shallow water. Hmmm, we know what happens when the keel is raised and a bad storm comes along. Remember the Bayesian?

My family went on a cruise to the Bahamas in November of 1984 on the ship SS Emerald Seas. A tropical storm had moved through the area a few days before we departed, and the gulf stream was all churned up. This was a 600-foot ship, and it was rolling so much that the crew had placed "barf bags" all along hallways and common areas. I remember being at dinner that night, and the dining room cleared out with people getting sick. I wasn't phased at all by the motion and ate a fillet mignon that night, and it was delicious [emoji39]

10/19/96, Long Island Sound heading 270

I had this 95" schooner surfing , we were doing ~30Knts over the bottom, w/ a storm jib and reefed main and fore sails, this storm delayed the World Series in the Bronx w/ extreme flooding along the Conn and LI coasts
