Blocking the only available parking spot with a shopping cart
Pisses me off when a cart isn’t brought to a cart corral. Really pisses me off when the only available parking spot is blocked by a cart. Sorry, just had to get it off my chest.

Me too! I'll offer to return carts when walking from the parking lot when I see someone about finished unloading. Saves them time, and maybe someone else from running into an abandoned cart.

there's a theory on this, google shopping cart theory
I mostly see fat older boomers pushing carts up onto the islands in parking lots or simply leaving them in the parking spot next to their car. They're the first to point the finger at bad behavior in public though, go figure. I watched an older guy force a cart between two vehicles at Aldi a couple months back. When I say force I mean the cart barely fit between the cars so he drug it down the sides of both cars and kept walking. |
Saturday morning I moved a cart parked as you describe. I moved it and the woman was quite happy

Has zero to do with any particular demographic.
Like everything else......it mostly has to do with how your parents brought you up. |
ALWAYS return the cart. That’s a huge pet peeve of mine. Kids are totally bought in as well, I’ve probably shamed them into compliance.:D

I strongly recommend you not move to Daytona Florida.
People look at you weird if you return the cart. |
I like to build shopping car pyramids in parking spots. Have gotten them 7 carts high. After that I need a crane but I need a new pair of hydraulic rams for mine.
