Its been 8 years I believe since I lost my daughter , and some days , I still feel some sadness, but most of my thoughts and memories of her, and my wife are now the more positive ones of good times past .
Some one once told me that grief is like carrying around a backpack full of bricks . That backpack will now be with you for life, but you will remove bricks one at a time at your own pace, until the weight becomes bearable again .
