Happened over a decade ago, but still entertaining. So many folks get into trouble when they try to show off. All of the folks that wreck when leaving C&C or other car shows are all because they are showing off.

Showing off and racing are two huge accident causers.

He almost made it between the two cars LOL

Almost a minute of video that should've been edited out, 5 seconds of really bad driving and an accident, and another minute of superfluous video.

I want my time back.

I think there's some rule that most Internet videos don't show the good stuff until at least ⅓ of the way into the video. Yeah, many videos should be edited.

I bet everyone of us here, has lost control of a car a lot slower than that one .

The first time for me; I was 17 and being an idiot. Simple left hand turn, too much throttle applied mid turn, car spins 180 degrees. Luckily I didn't hit anything.

An oldie but a goodie. I think it's funny, with the POV from the videographers. :)

Not me. My first car was a 1960 VW bug with a ground pounding 36 HP when new. It had over 100,000 miles, and likely down to 25 HP. 0 to 60 of 72 seconds on flat ground with no headwind. If there was a headwind, 0 to 60 was infinite and unattainable. Even on wet pavement I could not get that car to spin like the Lambo idiot.

I graduated to a 73 Super Bug. 60 HP was awesome fast! ;)

In 1974 I ordered my 74 914 2.0 and I got the bad driving out of my system with 3 or so autocrosses per month. I actually learned how to drive.

I have done some dumb things in my long ago past, but I got away with them, and no crashes since I was 16, in my 60 model bug. One of the prettiest girls in my high school was in a mini skirt walking along the sidewalk in front of school. For some reason my 16 year old small brain was intent on watching her, and not traffic. I rear ended a big ol American car at 5 MPH or after a panic stop when the car in front of me stopped at a red light. No damage to his giant bumper. It is my one and only crash.

The limited slip/posi-traction/traction-lok of the muscle cars are not like modern differentials. The power overcomes the rear tires and they don’t spin at quite the same revolutions, and the car starts to rotate. My 1969 fastback will do this. The trick is to stay on it and using the steering wheel to stay straight and then lift off. Look at the drifting events. If you step off as soon as it snaps sideways, it violently catches (like a power boat can do) but now you’re pointed at the curb or worse. An open differential is much safer as only one wheel spins (My cousin Vinny), the other 3 are planted, and the car doesn’t step out.

When most cars spin both rear tires, the car due to all of the mechanics involved have a tendency to have the rear step to the side. I think it's a combination of weight transfer, torque, the amount of "slip" in the rear end, etc... that causes it. If the driver doesn't countersteer appropriately, they lose control.

Most cars that have limited slip rears will do it. I think even FWD cars with LSD will have the front end slip to the side.

You can even see, occasionally, someone doing a burnout at the drag strip where there will be a guy on the side of the rear of the car pushing to ensure that the car stays straight.
