This is a real photo of a guy seeking his fortune in the gold fields of New Zealand's South Island.

I'm gonna have a gold and diamond "grille" made. That way when things go sideways I can smile and say "how much will it cost?"

LOL!

"Do you see anything yet?"
"Have you seen a flare. I understood the instructions. I'm not standing here staring at the dye wondering what the next step was. If I see the dye, I'll shoot the flare off, otherwise I haven't seen crap."

I don't think I could do the reality TV thing, no way.

KFC911 04-11-2025 10:12 AM

I'd watch reruns of Al Capone's vault instead :D

Let’s introduce a toxic dye to an unpolluted water source.

I believe they said that the dye was "non-toxic". Still, I thought adding that dye to those springs was a carpy move on their part.

Yeah. Said vs reality…. They also said that AFFF was non-toxic and we could let it run right into the drinking water qualifiers of every municipality across the United States… the level of toxicity or therefore the lack of, is due to the unknown aspect/ research of these compounds.

Looked like fluorescien.

cabmandone 04-11-2025 11:42 AM

I don't know how it works... but I'm getting really tempted to sell.

I started watching this guy a couple weeks ago

This guy appears to know what he's doing. I wouldn't try this at home because chemistry kills.

Didn't watch the vid but gold won't dissolve in nitric acid alone.

I've had GLD for many years with huge gain. If I had bought physical gold I wouldn't owe cap gains. I wonder if I should convert GLD to physical. Also, GLD is "paper gold". Is there physical to back it up? The recent run-up makes me doubt that. You can also buy miners, like Agnico Eagle Mines AEM, This stock has done awesomely the last year. It's ok with me if you all buy it with wild abandon. :D

Yes, they do hold some gold. About 53B worth versus a total market cap of GLD of 97B, so it's definitely not 100% collateralized by actual physical gold.

Tell them you want your metal. Get it while the gettins good. Like silver, gold is heavily shorted. I believe there will come a time when paper gold and silver holders are left holding the empty bag. Hence the saying: if you can't hold it, you don't own it

It'd be like posting yer car in pmax's garage or driving it in public :D

Gold is great unless it's tied up in 17.5mm wrenches

KFC911 04-11-2025 03:02 PM

Pro tip: Melt yer gold down and pour it into 10mm sockets :D
