One if by land, two if by sea April 18, 1775
250 years ago today, Paul Revere rode from Boston to Lexington, MA to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock that the British were going to march into Lexington to arrest them and then move on to Concord to capture the Sons of Liberty munitions. Tomorrow, April 19th, is the day that started the journey of creating our great country and ultimately changed the world forever.

Thanks for posting those links, Shaun.
I think it's important that we remember these events as reminders of what our country's forefathers endured to create this great country of ours. I think a lot of us take our liberties for granted now days.

I love history Scott and thought this was important to share at the 250 year mark. I would venture to say most Americans have no idea what happened 250 years ago tomorrow.

I've been watching Patriots on PBS. Exellent and Kelsey Grammer does a good narration

I'm a history buff too, Shaun. Just don't get into it as deeply as some.

Too much of the world to see and study to be passionate about all of it. But just being curious and a lifelong learner is all anyone can hope to be for a rich and fulfilling internal life.
