You're covered, and cheap at twice the price.
I wonder how many folks get taken by these guys. I'm assuming it only takes one to take the bait, and then they can manage to get a lot more money out of someone that didn't realize this was fake in the first place. I've never had McAfee....never even considered it, even if it was $3.55 instead of $355

If the scam is fairly obvious, then they weed out the folks that are too smart to get scammed, and only hook the folks that aren't "with it" enough or are paniced/flustered enough that the bad guys have a chance of making some money off of them.
