And I think that human interaction is far more critical to our mental wellbeing than we realize. IMO the existence of a question of whether we are engaging a human or bot is enough to cross wires in our brains. It should be required to include a warning label on all interactions and if this were my forum I would go to great lengths to keep it out.

And my beef is far more with bots pretending to be human than it is with spam. Bots posting are simply farming human knowledge. Literally stealing our ideas and perceptions in an effort to ultimately sell it back to us. It is insidious and fundamentally evil.

And it is the end of all culture.

Let every real Stevebot "freeze" a bot revival upon arrival ... and a few more?

I'll be a BarneyBot and nip it some days ... a few of us can keep the intrusive bots out... Bots and AI mining this awesome place is a given.

The last few bots that I've noticed...their user name is in green font. Don't know if that is true for all of them?

I'm on mobile view ... don't see all that ... but yeah ;)

Green is a new user, red is banned...

Rusty Heap (Dave RIP) used to make his red ...

Bots might be ancient... not green, but have a few posts 3-7 and revive ancient threads ... then folks jump in.

It sucks imo... I don't want to see my stoopid posts from 2 decades ago... or folks not here ... those bots add nothing... jmho.

I think the 'bot' problem is magnified in your mind. This topic would have found a home in the "pet peeves" thread.
