The Firs Showroom - F1, Race car, Classic and Hyper Car Dealer

This is being built just outside of my village so thought you guys would be interested in the project....

Tom Hartley Jr is one of the world's leading classic and hyper car dealers in the world, recently arranged the sale of Bernie Eccelstone's £500m/$660m F1 collection

Tom Hartley Jr has decided he wants to move his business to the Cotswolds so is building himself a new showroom and family house just a couple of miles from me

Below are a few videos of the progress he's making...

Episode 1
https://youtu.be/e-XaaZGYRNo?si=RjldCUJc7__oiPFR

Episode 2
https://youtu.be/h1MGCNE32uA?si=5M3EjgdwQfqVlsvK

Episode 3
https://youtu.be/dAXnbVeAONY?si=K8OuzaYLIRsRh5EQ

I'll add the next update when it's released

Secretly hoping when the time eventually comes and I've had enough of working with race cars I can get a retirement job at the showroom

Not sure of what I do but think it could be good fun helping to rebuild/recommission old F1 or Le Mans 24hr race cars back to their former glory

Super cool, Captain, thanks for the info.

One idea for a retirement gig: you could somewhat frequently ensure that the cars are taken out and given Italian tuneups.

Wow! Very cool!

We could film a new Shell commercial with those.

If I lived close I'd offer to sweep floors or dust cobwebs for free just to be around those cars and the people who know about them. Same with the Ralph Lauren or Jay Leno or any of the big collections.

Then I'd look around and figure out ways to put some of the skills I've learned in my 66 years to work and ingratiate myself into to collection at a higher level!

Absolutely. It would be worth it to be around to do a few hours of sweeping.
