^^^ Yep... fireproof enclosure of Hardie backer board, etc. ... simple outta sight & outta mind for just docs & stuff. Isn't that sorta the stuff inside safes .25 = 30 min, .5 = 1 hr.
Couple of inches thick should work :D |
I went through the same thing and after digging around a bunch, I decided to buy home safe from Liberty. It’s solid, has decent fire protection, and the lock doesn’t feel cheap like some of the ones I saw at the big box stores. Bolted it down in a closet, and now I’ve got peace of mind storing passports, backup drives, and random paperwork I don’t want floating around.
