Seems a bit insane, but then there are a TON of cars out on the road these days with 1000+ hp, and that seems insane to me. I remember many years ago when folks were putting forced induction on the '90s Ford GTs and getting those up in the 1000-1500hp range. That was near the beginning of that sort of thing. These days, almost anything can be running that sort of power.
And my boxster's got 300hp, LOL! Although, I will admit that there are times when I think "375-450 might be a lot of fun"
